(dun shoot me if this has already been posted… I already took some time looking for a similar topic and found none… I really wanted this annoying thing solved if possible)
Is it possible to disable the annoying (and rather ugly) virus notification dialog by defining an automatic action to take in AntiVir PE? I have a horrible POP3 mail program - Outlook Express… Although I have yahoo, which blocks some 80% of my junk, I still get a lot of junk mail going through with viruses such as Netsky and other worms attached to them. AntiVir literally saves my butt. But the issue is that I get these viruses everyday. Each time I click a email with a virus attached to it (usually I know which ones to delete), I get an annoying notification (and even focus stealing!) notificaiton telling me that there is a virus and I have to do something about it. I would rather like it if there was some option for AntiVir to do this automatically.
So the question is: Is there a way to get AntiVir to automatically take action (ie: wipe, delete, rename etc) when a virus is detected?
Any help on this matter would be appreciated… Or tell me if I should just resort to using Mozilla’s mail client…
I don’t download warez or any other weird files so I don’t need the notification poping up everying fricken time…
There are 2 configuration window’s to setup and customize AVPE to your liking.
1. AVPE’s Main Program Configuration . You can access it from Start>Programs>AVPE>AntiVir . Select Options from the menu bar.
2. AVPE’s Guard , has its own configuration settings . You can access it from Start>Programs or right click its icon in the systray and select configuration.
