When I tried my to start my file sharing program it wouldn’t connect at all. I run ZoneAlarm with Antivir. I got Antivir 2 days ago and I’ve had zonealarm forever. Why is it not connecting?

Try uninstalling AVPE and see if it works again. You need an AV though if you are using filesharing software. As AVPE scans files as they are written to your hard drive it could be locking up your other program.

I’ve been trying out AVPE for the last month on Windows 98 and 2000 without any problems with my file-sharing application.
It successfully detected a virus in a file I was about to download, much as NAV does.
Might I ask which P2P software are you using?
